1. How does your country define hazardous waste? Please explain the differences, if any, in your national hazardous waste definitions from the Basel Convention's definitions. According to Rules on Waste Management (1998) definition of waste is: Waste shall be deemed to be all substances or items which are classified under any of the groups of waste specified in Annex 1A (list of groups of wastes) to these Rules and whose owner disposes them of, intend to dispose of or must dispose of them. Classification list of wastes (hereinafter: list of wastes) is determined in Annex 1 to these Rules which is an integral part of these Rules. The definition is in accordance with EU definition of waste.
2. Does your country possess a national hazardous waste import prohibition law or policy?

It is not explained which London Convention you had in mind. The answer is referring to the London Convention which is referring to the pollution of the sea from ships.
